"TPC was a huge part of my aviation journey. When I was working through training, TPC provided a network of pilots whom have either been flying for years, or who were looking to help along the way. Aviation can be overwhelming when you're first getting started, and it's easy to feel like you're trying to figure everything out on your own.
What TPC provided wasn't just information, it was guidance, mentorship, and a community of people willing to help. Whether it was career advice, networking opportunities, or learning more about different paths in the industry, it helped guide me to be the pilot I am today.
Since becoming a pilot at American Airlines, I can look back and say that organizations like TPC help bridge the gap between someone who is interested in aviation and someone who is actually building a career in it. The new Aviation Career Center is going to give people access to resources, training, and connections that can make a real difference early in their journey. Most importantly it will bring a family that they will know for the rest of their aviation career whether it is simming, or flying in real life.
For anyone considering a career in aviation, whether as a pilot or in another area of the industry, having a support system and access to quality information is very important. TPC provides exactly that, and I'm excited to see how many future aviation professionals will benefit from this program."
